MAIN PRESENTATION: Freedom from Microsoft
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Look Ma, no hands, and No Microsoft!
July is Microsoft-free month at PASUG. What does it take to compute without using any software from Microsoft?
This month we'll take a look at what it takes to compute without using any software from Microsoft, from the operating system to office suite, to Web browser. A selection of alternate programs for the most universally needed functions by computer users will be presented. Several may also be demonstrated, if available.
It is possible. It doesn't make any difference if you decide to use OS/2 or Linux. Make your choice and go for it.
