The TCP/IP stack for OS/2 has been upgraded (on 9/8/97) to 
version 4.02a, and is available for download via FTP:


ftp://ftp.software.ibm.com/ps/products/tcpip/fixes/v4.0os2/latest/stack/ic18562.exe


According to the readme, firewall support has been 
integrated into the stack. To check your current version, 
type INETVER at a command prompt. Also available are 
updates to:

telnet (7/22):
ftp://ftp.software.ibm.com/ps/products/tcpip/fixes/v4.0os2/latest/telnet/telfiles.exe


ftp (9/4):
ftp://ftp.software.ibm.com/ps/products/tcpip/fixes/v4.0os2/latest/ftp/ftpfiles.exe


lpr (8/8):
ftp://ftp.software.ibm.com/ps/products/tcpip/fixes/v4.0os2/latest/print/lprfiles.exe


DHCP (9/5):
ftp://ftp.software.ibm.com/ps/products/tcpip/fixes/v4.0os2/latest/dhcpclient/dhcpczip.exe


and DDNS updates from March:

All of these are "official" fixes.


Loren Bandiera adds to this: "If you haven't done any 
previous updates then you will also need to ensure you have 
ic16063.exe installed as well." The ic16063.exe package can 
be obtained here:
