SecureCom is a small and fast personal communication tool for OS/2 .
It is designed to hook two people up directly (without using the
IRC channels, servers, IP servers, etc.) for a ONE-ON-ONE personal
direct text chat.
One button Hailing makes it a simple and painless way to connect.
SecureCom for OS/2 utilizes a "Hailing feature" to accomplish this.
The hailing feature uses a built in seamless e-mail facility to send
your current IP address to another SecureCom user in a specially
coded e-mail letter. SecureCom ALSO has a DIRECT TCP/IP Hailing
facility that allows hailing directly to a static or known IP address
via the local network or internet.
SecureCom NOW supports PGP encryption plug-in support.
OS/2 3.x or 4.x required with TCP/IP installed (or the light version
in the Warp 3.x iak). An internet connection with an e-mail account
is also required.
Windows 95/NT Beta version slated to be released in one to two weeks
AND a JAVA beta version by the END of the month.
No other servers, e-mail or support software are needed.
