The final, finished copy of IACTion Letter #1 has been  posted!  You
may  find  both  HTML  and  Zip versions at our website, in the same
"Connections" section  that  has  a  full  reprint  of the complaint
signed and sent by the 26 companies in Microsoft's camp. Please pass

to  your  friends and other contacts  regardless of whether they use
OS/2, DOS, Linux, the Mac, BeOS or any other platform.

If  IACT's very first Action Letter is a success, it will be because
of all of you. You came  together  to lend your names and support to
this project. The tangible result can be seen in the 297 signatures,
collected in just 3 short days!  Among you are programmers, ordinary
computer users, and owners of businesses that either sell or rely on
computers.

Those  of  you  who  signed  the  Letter  and/or recently joined the
International Alliance for  Compatible  Technology may be interested
in other IACT projects, all free for you to enjoy, at the level  you
choose  to  participate.  So I'll invite you to check them out right
