Updates to Java 1.1.6, runtime.exe, samples.exe and toolkit.exe are
available for downloading at:

or

  ftp://ftp.hursley.ibm.com/pub/java/fixes/os2/11/116/ 

According to the read.me, these may not be used for initial
installation. These are updates for those that have used Feature
Install to install the original Java 1.1.6.
