Hello there, I'm developing (trying :) ) a hardware monitoring program that uses LM78 and Winbond W83781D
chip, and I have a little program that *should* be able to read the Vendor ID from your hardware monitor chip. I'd
like my program supporting *ALL* the hardware monitor chip that is currently in use (no one-off/custom please...
:) ). If your motherboard have such a chip, please E-Mail me personally for the Chip_ID.EXE which will read (yes,
it won't write anything :) ) the Vendor_ID off the chip, and just display it on the screen.
And of course, let me know what chip is in there, so I can actually get to the web page and download the datasheet
for chip-specific code that is required for optimun performance and features... :)
Thanks.
