Several readers have sent us messages about reports of
Win32 support in Workspace on Demand (see 
http://www.zdnet.com/pcweek/stories/news/0,4153,355320,00.html)

It is our understanding that this business of running Win32
apps "natively" under Workspace on Demand isn't what it 
appears to be. 

According to Esther Schindler:
"WSOD v2 will -- sometime next year -- be able to run a 
Win32 client. It would be a *different* client than the 
current OS/2 Warp-based client (which still runs DOS, OS/2, 
Win3.x and Java of course), and presumably customers can 
use whichever one they like. The Win32 client will
essentially be a different disk image sent to the
workstation; it'd be like running Windows 95/NT hooked to a 
Warp Server."
