The Notebook/2 Site at
http://www.os2ss.com/users/DrMartinus/notebook.htm is
continuoulsly updated, but I think it is time to send
another message through WarpCast about it.
We are counting now almost 200 Pentiums/Pentium IIs, and
the number is still growing. Some popular brands haven't
appeared yet (like Panasonic), but they are due to be
included soon.
What is worth mentioning here are the continuous expansions
of the installation guides for video, audio and PCMCIA, of
which the first two are also relevant and helpful for
non-notebook users.
Further, I have started including PCMCIA cards. There are
only very few entries yet, so I would appreciate, if you
use PCMCIA cards, your contribution. Just go to the site
and select the submission form for PCMCIA cards (you find
the link on the left in the yellow area).
I know that this site has already helped quite a few
people. I hope that it will eventually help to promote
OS/2 among notebook manufacturers as an existing option for
which they need to provide proper support.
