IBM has released a new PCMCIA driver which complies 
with the PCMCIA level 5.0 standard (cardbus 
support). This is particularly relevant for all 
those who have a machine with cardbus PCMCIA socket 
which can not be set to PCIC mode, but it is of 
course also relevant for everyone else who uses a 
cardbus PCMCIA chipset.

This driver replaces the earlier SS2PCIC2 driver. It 
can be accessed from the driver page at the 
Notebook/2 Site:
