Some days ago SciTech Software released the first alpha version of the
new DisplayDoctor for OS/2. The mail was addressed to the people which
subscribed to the beta mailinglist. Some hours later the drivers were 
announced on the major OS/2 information channels.

SciTech posted several messages to the OS/2 Usenet:

- the released driver is an ALPHA version and just a few drivers are
working

- this version has no GUI, no fancy installation program, nothing than
a command line interface

- the idea of this release was to let some OS/2 users test it, but not
everyone

If you are using DisplayDoctor and if you have any results post them
to:

news://news.scitechsoft.com/scitech.display.doctor.beta

The mailinglist about DisplayDoctor should not be used, this is not an
offical SciTech list.

I am not speaking for SciTech but I thought it would be useful to give
the OS/2 community some feedback about this great product.

BTW: Several people were able to replace the old drivers and all of
them wrote that the new SciTech drivers are *much* faster!
