YADTV/2 Version 1.11 Released

I have released a new version of the YADTV/2 
televison application. The application is 
currently at 
http:/hobbes.nmsu.edu/pub/incoming/yadtv111.
zip and at some point will migrate to 
http:/hobbes.nmsu.edu/pub/os2/apps/mmedia/ya
dtv111.zip

The application uses the OS/2 Multimedia MCI 
interface to control the tuner and display 
for video capture cards that have a TV 
tuner. 

The application has been tested with the 
Hauppauge Wincast/TV card using the beta 
drivers from 
http://www.wdi.co.uk/os2tv/download.htm the 
application requires that the TV card driver 
is used with FP6 or better and a GRADD based 
video driver for direct screen access for 
the display of the television image. Some 
display problems exist with Wincast drivers 
earlier than 1.030M

The application should work with any video 
capture card that supports the MCI (Media 
Control Interface) in OS/2 Warp.
