I need people who have the following motherboard to test
ThermoProtect V1.21 for me...
Abit BX6 Rev 2
Gigabyte 6BXE, BX2000.
MicroStar MS-6163
or other motherboard with Winbond W83782D monitoring chip
installed. And you need to make sure that your motherboard
does have the chip installed, as you can find out in the
BIOS page. Where if they didn't have any
temperature/fan/voltage sensing information, that would
mean that you don't have the chip installed. (Turn off
Spread Spectrum, as it can sometimes disable the chip
somehow).
To test the experimental "internal CPU thermal diode" code,
and to see if it is feasible to auto-detect the presence of
the CPU thermal diode connection...
