I have compared the 'new' AV30DZ.ZIP from July 19th. with 
the original one of July 11th., and have found no 
differences at all. The only difference is the compression 
rate.

That means the following problem still is not solved:
     
"The latest data-update AV30DZ for IBM AntiVirus on the 
Symantec Internet site can be used, but contains an old 
shield signature file (SHSIG.LST version CV). The shield is 
more than half a year old, compared to the other signature 
files. We have explained to Symantec that this is 
unacceptable. This also explains why some viruses are not 
detected by the shield but are detected by a scan."
