Thanks to Dave Shields of IBM's open source and Jikes development
team, the NY OS/2 Users Group is remaining at IBM's New York office
at 590 Madison Avenue. We have once again been saved in the 11th
hour.
Therefore it gives me great pleasure to announce that...

* Meeting Details *
We will have introduction to REXX, a batch file programming language
that OS/2 uses extensively. REXX is also availble for IBM's AIX,
OS/390; Micrsoft's Windows 9x/NT and there is a version for Linux.
There are a few other versions out there as well, like IBM's CICS.
Rexx is a mature language. This past March of 1999, REXX celebrated
its 20th birthday.

UK Laboratories. In his own words: "REXX is a procedural language
that allows programs and algorithms to be ritten in a clear and
structured way." REXX doesn't look that different from any other
procedural language."
