AE 1.6.5

[Moderator note: ae.exe is a replacement for E.EXE from Aaron Lawrence. "Fixes most of the annoying things about IBM E.EXE."]

1.6.5
Set font and colors from within program
Fixed some errors loading translations
Some updates to translations

This pretty much completes the program, feature wise. I suppose I will fix the printing of tabs - this is slightly more work than I thought.

xine rc2 for OS/2

I have released my port of the video player xine for OS/2. Currently only MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 video files have been tested. In time I hope to have all formats supported by xine on Linux working on OS/2.

In keeping with the ideals of the OS/2 Multimedia Infrastructure Project, xine for OS/2 is an MCD (Media Control Device), which means it doesn't include a user interface, but can but used by video players that fully support MMOS/2, including WPS Play and Normal Player.

xine for OS/2 is available for download at http://doconnor.reamined.on.ca/xine/

xine for OS/2 is released under the GPL.

Ogg Vorbis 1.0.1

Brian Havard has released Ogg Vorbis 1.0.1 for OS/2. Ogg Vorbis is an audio compression format similar to MP3 but free of patented algorithms and fully open source. The package contains the library DLLs as well as text-mode encoders and players, plus a plug-in for the GUI player PM123.

This is mainly a bug-fix release. New features include support for reading/playing FLAC-encoded files.
