UpdCD 2.35 fix has been released
UpdCD 2.35 fix release has been released. Some of the changes:
new: support for Adobe Acrobat Reader from Innotek
new: aligned with latest printer fixpak
new: updcd logs configuration to main log file
new: aligned with latest ecs 1.0 fixes/updates
new: record.cmd does not complain any more if no boot images are present
fix: \CID\DLL\OS2\uhpfs.dll, \DISKIMGS\ibm1flpy.add and VCU.EXE should
also be updated
fix: network install fails if no addon integration is enabled (wseb)
fix: updcd installation does not add/update updcd version number in
os2.ini
fix: delete setuf.inf from fp3, otherwise win-os2 will not install (cp)
fix: loading new config file in pmupdcd.exe changed the program language
UpdCD 2.35 has to applied on top of an UpdCD 2.3x installation.

This is a change for eBay changes that have broken everything. There are
most likely still some nits to pick, as I'm not sure I have seen all the
new page variants, but the basic operation seems to be working.
As always, if you find anything strange or broken, please let me know,
especially with this drop due to all the eBay changes.
eBayWatch/2 is an auction management tool for OS/2 users. It works solely
with the eBay auction site. It is meant to aid the user in searching for,
monitoring and bidding on auction items.
Required -
1) partition supporting long file names (hpfs, jfs etc.)
2) rexxutil.dll and rxsock.dll in libpath
3) must start from its work directory, or a program object which sets the
work directory

PMSheet
PMSHeet is a file-explorer like program which shows at the right a tree
and at the left the images in the selected folder. The images are shown as
thumbnails. The program support the standard drag & drop of OS/2 Warp,
even the tree at the right accepts dropped files. This makes it easy to
maintain your image folders. On the images simple functions can be applied
like rotating, zooming and slideshow of sellected images etc. The program
comes with online help. Last but not least, it is freeware.

jSyncManager.org announces the second alpha release of the jSyncManager
3.0 Palm Hand-held Synchronization Core Application Set for Java, and the
third beta release of the jSyncManager 3.0 API for Java.
TORONTO, CANADA, July 9th, 2003 - The jSyncManager.org Development Team
is pleased to announce the latest release of their Java tool for
synchronizing PalmOS-based hand held computers the jSyncManager v3.0 Core
Application Set alpha 02. This release builds upon the previous alpha
release by improving jConduit plug-in installation, and through a myriad
of bug fixes and performance enhancements.
"We're hoping that this will be our last alpha release of the
jSyncManager v3.0 Core Application Set", said Brad Barclay, Lead
Developer and Project Administrator for jSyncManager.org. "Once the
online help subsystem is in place, the jSyncManager v3.0 Core Application
Set will be feature-complete, and ready for beta testing. We need users
to download and test thin release, so we can produce a solid beta".
Also announced today was the simultaneous release of the jSyncManager
v3.0 API beta 03. This release brings the jSyncManager v3.0 API up to
the same code level as the API files contained in the jSyncManager v3.0
Core Application Set alpha 02.
The jSyncManager v3.0 Core Application Set is licensed under the GNU
General Public License (GPL). The jSyncManager v3.0 API is licensed
under the GNU Lesser General Public License (LGPL). Both are available,
along with full source code, for immediate download through the
jSyncManager.org web site.

Styler/2 is a program which enhances both the aesthetics and the
functionality of OS/2 Warp 3, eCS and MCP.
Features and bug fixes:
* Styler/2 has been completely rewritten.
* Now Styler/2 works correctly with Connectix Virtual PC and hopefully
with other applications based on the Odin libraries.
Currently the Window rolling and Titlebar hiding features have been
disabled for windows relying on those libraries.
* Most limitations regarding bitmap formats have been removed.
Now any kind of OS/2 bitmap is valid provided that its size does not
exceed 64 KBs.
* Thanks to an undocumented OS/2 API, now Styler/2 shares the same bitmap
resources among all the system processes.
This provides a small increment in speed (when starting a new process)
and a large decrease in resource usage (when a lot of processes are
running).
* Titlebar gradients use much less memory and are displayed much faster
as they are converted to shared bitmaps and then stretched as needed.
* The titlebar sample in the preferences notebook correctly shows
centered
text when the Center option is selected.
* When a mouse button is pressed on the window border now the window
correctly receive the focus.
* Some new bitmaps for the titlebars and the window controls have been
added.
Known problems
* The installer of version 1.7 cannot correctly reinstall Styler/2 over
version 1.7 itself (it works correctly when installing over previous
versions).
Future releases
* Version 1.7.x (or version 1.8) with a fixed installer, a real help file
and a few experimental new features will be released as soon as
possible.
* Nationalized versions (German, Russian, Spanish, Swedish and Italian)
will be released together with that new version
