Come join us in our monthly meeting. We are OS/2 and eComStation users,
and we meet every month to show off our latest software and hardware. We
bring laptops, network cables and power, and we often do live
troubleshooting of systems during our meetings.

Hint: It's between the Mexican Restaurant and the Japanese Restaurant in
the corner (Safeway is on the far right). $5.00 per person to be collected
for help with the munchies.

Hello everyone,

Recently, VOICE opened a private Ceilidh forum for VOICE members only.
The purpose of this forum is to provide a place to hold VOICE meetings
that is not limited by time zones and some of the other constraints
imposed by the chat facilities.

In addition to formal meetings, VOICE members are welcome to post comments
and points for further discussion.

In order to be able to post on this forum, you must have be a VOICE member
and be pre-registered. Once you have been registered, you will be given
a user name and password. This information is sent by email to each
VOICE member when he or she joins (or renews his or her membership to)
VOICE.

Email messages containing this info have already been sent to those
currently members of VOICE,

If you are a member of VOICE, but didn't receive this email, please
contact Gordon Snider at gsniderdDESPAM@DESPAMlook.ca . If you wish to
join VOICE to take advantage of this and other benefits of our
organization, you should also contact Gord.

If you have any question, please contact either me at the address below or

You can use any of those server addresses to initialize your IRC client,
or alternatively, click on the link at the bottom of the page, and load a
Java IRC applet to immediately start your chat session. I have tried
this applet, and it is remarkably quick, and simple to use.

a. Doug has agreed to do it.
b. It's been decided to do it in the VOICE C++ forum

d. Course has just gotten started. Read Doug's posts for more info.
e. Should we announce it, and if so where?
f. Beyond the above questions, I would prefer not to spend any more
Warpdoctor time on the C++ Course. :-)

2. Current Status of WD status/plugin.
3. Status of inputting test data.
4. Is it too late?
a. We haven't made much progress lately, and other venues are providing
similar services.
b. I still think ours would be the best, but I worry about maintenance.

The current Ceilidh OS/2-eCS general discussion forum at
http://forums.os2voice.org/VOICE/Discuss/ is being converted to a
members-only discussion forum.

The new forum will continue to be available for discussion of OS/2-eCS
related topics as well as some of the formal subjects that currently get
discussed in the VOICE chatroom.

The new forum will be available to everyone, but only VOICE members will
be able to POST.

To facilitate this conversion, all registrations have been removed. We
are in the process of doing a mass registration for current VOICE members.
You will be notified when this is complete.
